I FINALLY got to visit our French speaking province; Quebec! and… it’s as beautiful as everyone says. I found it so crazy to be in my country and have everyone around me speak a language I didn’t understand. It made me kind of sad that French wasn’t more enforced in my school. Yes we started learning it in grade 5 but we are allowed to switch in grade 8 and I hardly ever remember speaking it and what a beautiful language to listen to.

We only had a couple days in Montreal, but Old Town Quebec City definitely took my heart. It’s like walking through Europe in Canada.

If you are planning a future trip make sure to go to Poutineville, it’s delicious and for my dairy free girls they even offer vegan cheese!
