Having been a mom over half my life now, starting when I was a teenager, what I wish I would have known sooner, what I wish someone would have told me sooner, was that it is OKAY to still be you. To discover who you are through the layers of childbearing, and parenting. I lost myself at one point, to the goodness, (and the mess) of motherhood, but I found my way back, and it’s been a glorious unfolding, a radical evolution, and I want that for every mother, everywhere.
