This beautiful home is situated 40 minutes outside of the city of Cairns up close to the jungle. It is owned by a beautiful couple. They happen to actually be friends of mine’s family. I am sitting here on their couch, my tummy is happy and full from our gorgeous meal and the sound of the Cicadas is humming through the house. Laying in bed last night there were fireflies flying around our room making it look like we had a ceiling full of stars. The green frogs have their own little spots, one behind the picture frame, one by the kitchen sink and one on the toilet. The creek that runs below the house is fresh and clean and perfect for a summer swim. I am content. I am calm. This to me is Australia.
